I have gotten a call from 678-294-9582, "Wireless Caller", twice today (Sat, 8/20/2011). It is an Atlanta area cell number. I let my answering machine pick up & they leave no message. I let my fax pick up once also, and they, of course, hung up. As mentioned by others, if you call the number back, you get a recording from the phone company that "the phone number you are trying to reach is unreachable." Boy, would I like to be able to "reach out and touch someone" Choke someone is more like it. These are the times when you wish you had an expensive electronic device attached to your phone that would automatically pick up when one, of a list of phone numbers called you, and send a signal through the lines that totally destroys their system and equipment. I know. I know. Keep dreaming.

Just someone calling and not leaving a message; thought it might be a co-worker or acquaintance so I tried to call back and got a voice recording saying that the number could not be called. Googled the number just for the heck of it, and found all of these complaints! Have been called twice now in two days 8-17-11 and 8-20-11...

Yeah, same crap as everyone else has listed. Threatening voicemails, threatening legal action against my social security number. All that stuff. I just goad him, make fun of him and generally make him mad to the point of him threatening to file harassment charges against me...too funny. Don't give these scumbags anything. Record everything, document the calls. Keep your voice mails. Turn them over to your local police. I had heard once that the Secret Service was the federal agency that would handle this type of harassment. Anyone else take out a loan from Ameriloan? I know of three people where I work who did so and are now getting these calls.
